About Brian Snyder, ADT

Brian Snyder is an Alcohol and Drug Counseling Trainee (ADT) and Behavioral Health Technician Supervisor at The Freedom Center. With approximately six years of experience in the behavioral health and substance use treatment field, including more than two years with The Freedom Center, Brian brings a combination of hands-on experience, leadership, compassion, and a genuine commitment to helping individuals find a path toward lasting recovery.

Brian began his career in the field as a transportation driver and quickly discovered a passion for working directly with individuals in recovery. His dedication and ability to build meaningful relationships with clients led him to advance into leadership, eventually serving as a Behavioral Health Technician Supervisor at his previous organization, where he worked for four years. He joined The Freedom Center to continue growing professionally while being closer to his family.

Brian is currently pursuing his Associate of Applied Science in Human Services Counseling. He is also CPR/AED and Narcan certified and continues to develop his knowledge and skills as he works toward a career as an addictions counselor.

Brian’s treatment philosophy is centered on meeting people where they are and helping them become the best version of themselves they can be. He believes that every person who seeks treatment deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, honesty, and respect. His strengths include building genuine connections with clients, providing support and accountability, remaining calm and dependable during difficult situations, and helping individuals recognize their own ability to make meaningful changes in their lives.

For Brian, recovery is about more than simply stopping the use of drugs or alcohol. It is about helping people rediscover their worth, rebuild relationships, develop healthy coping skills, and create a life they genuinely want to live. He wants every person who walks through the doors of The Freedom Center to understand that they are not alone.

They are loved, and they matter.

Outside of work, Brian is family-oriented and enjoys spending time with his family. In his free time, he enjoys collecting Pokémon cards and 3-D printing, two hobbies that allow him to collect, create, and pursue his interests outside of the treatment setting.
