Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP):
Laurence Freedom knew that the whole person – mind, body, emotion and spirit – was affected by addiction. Frustrated that traditional treatment programs did not fully address the root cause(s) of the addiction and did not integrate the newer neuroscience and holistic philosophies, Laurence founded The Freedom Center.
The Freedom Center is a premier outpatient alcohol and drug addiction treatment program in Colorado that approaches treatment from a health-minded, holistic view. The Freedom Center’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers a practical, straightforward wellness model that works to achieve long term, successful recovery. At The Freedom Center, our goals are to:
- Design and implement an individualized treatment plan for the “whole” person using the most effective traditional, contemporary and holistic techniques available.
- Teach new strategies and skills that can help a person gain control over addictive patterns, rebalance their life, change unhealthy behaviors and make new choices which promote a successful, satisfying life free from addiction, fear and shame.
- Reprogram the subconscious mind to be aligned with working recovery disciplines, caring for oneself and enhancing self worth.
- Support the body through the use of various physical techniques and a natural detoxification process which helps repair and fortify damaged tissue, rebalance brain neurochemistry, and improve the overall health of one’s body.
- Connect with the heart to foster self-love and inner trust, heal core issues, reduce emotional tension and stress, and regain personal power, self-esteem and self-worth.
- Unite with our spirit to reestablish the relationship with one’s self and Higher Power while changing and/or strengthening personal beliefs to match one’s new found freedom.
- Return to communities that support you in your new life of learning, practicing and strengthening your sobriety.
Our IOP is an eight (8) week program for adults who have a desire to live addiction free and are open to a holistic model. Because the program is individualized, the program can be extended beyond the eight (8) weeks if needed to ensure personal success.
