Philosophy:
We believe that alcohol and drug dependency is a treatable disease that affects all parts of an individual. Thus, we treat addiction from a health-minded, holistic view. At The Freedom Center, we believe that wellness occurs through a “one day at a time” recovery process that integrates one’s body, mind, heart and spirit. Recovery is a journey back to wholeness. It is a journey to regain our freedom from addiction, fear and shame, so we can choose to live joyously again. It is rebuilding our relationship with our self and with our Higher Power. Only then can we meet life’s daily challenges with ease and grace.
At The Freedom Center, we believe in the people who walk through our doors. We believe in who they truly are in their heart and soul and know that they are not their addiction. We accept them with unconditional love. We support them with respect and compassion in their inherent desire and commitment to be free from addiction. We help them gain the knowledge and practical skills and tools that promote and sustain physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health each and every day.
