Addiction affects everyone. Whether you are the person with the dependency or someone who has a relationship with an addict, addiction has the potential to disrupt every aspect of your life.
Do you, or does someone you love, need help? That is a complex question. It’s impossible to make a complete diagnosis via the Internet, but we have developed some tools to help you take the first step.
If You Think You Have an Addiction
Addiction is not a bad habit. With motivation and discipline, most bad habits - interrupting others during conversations, talking too loudly, being boorish or passive-aggressive - can be easily overcome.
Addiction is a disease. It is a chronic, debilitating ailment that comes in many forms, including alcohol or drug dependency, prescription medication abuse, gambling, sex, food - even the Internet. Addiction is progressive. Left untreated, a weekend impulse will become a daily compulsion, a daily compulsion will become an hourly desire, and an hourly desire will grow into an insatiable, irresistible impulse to abandon life and yourself in the process. Addiction is invasive. Like a cancer, it will migrate into every aspect of your life: your health, your home, your family, your work, even your untapped potential.
Do you have an addiction? The Freedom Center created this questionnaire to help you begin the process of evaluation. If you think you have a problem, please contact us immediately. We provide a confidential, in-depth, no-obligation test to make a conclusive determination. This on-site test should usually last no longer than 90 minutes.
If you plan to begin treatment, rest assured that we will do everything possible to ensure your success. The Freedom Center has helped hundreds of people overcome dependency, and we stand ready and eager to help you.
If You Have Been Through Treatment Before and Struggle with Relapse, There Is Still Hope.

At The Freedom Center we offer the latest technology and sound treatment to deal with relapse. This includes addressing brain chemistry, underlying sabotaging beliefs and behaviors, past trauma and creating a clear and concise relapse prevention plan.
